About
Founded in 2008 Kamp Around Kids is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit community-based organization whose mission is to provide a safe, nurturing environment while supporting the social, educational and health needs of urban at risk youth. The Kamp offers year around mentoring programs with volunteers and staff assisting in mentoring, job placement and violence prevention programs. We've partnered with The Chicago Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, The Chicago Guide Right Programs, The Chicago Kappa League, Parkway Christian Church, The Bronzeville Building Community Foundation, and The Edward G. Irving Foundation.
